What the course gives you
We will paint a realistic woman's portrait in profile, adorned with bright textured flowers, under complex lighting.
What you will learn:
- to construct a woman's portrait in profile
- to work with the palette, to convey tonal relationships: warm sunlight and cool shadows with painterly reflected color
- to mix complex flesh tones
- to create vivid surface and different textures on the canvas: the softness of skin, the shine of metal and precious stones, hair, flowers, the transparency of delicate butterfly wings.
