Materials
Paints
For paints we will need my classic set of colors.
I work with the French paint PEBEO. You can take paint from other makers, but the shades may differ.
Below is the list of paints and their PEBEO numbers

The only color from the Ladoga/Master Class range is Raw Leningrad Umber.
As you can see, I have no green. It is up to you whether to buy extra "marine" paints for the waves, but I assure you that without them we will learn to mix excellent "water"!
Solvent
I paint with pure odorless pinene. If you are used to painting with oil or triple medium, that is up to you, but I recommend taking a look at the way I build a painting.
Brushes
I use synthetic filberts. From the smallest to medium. A flat wash brush you can take if you wish. I will not be relying on them. Bristle brushes will not be a main brush either.
As the course is made, other tools may appear; I will talk about them in the lesson, but they will not be essential.
Palette knife
I always recommend having 2-4 palette knives of different shapes.
Canvases
This lesson uses 60x70 or 70x80
In the lessons I paint on linen canvases. You are free to take whatever size you like. It is worth going by the ratio of the sides.
If the reference is elongated, the difference between the sides should be 20 cm or more (for example 40x60 / 50x70).
Classic rectangular formats have a difference of 10 cm (40x50 / 50x60)
Squares or circles you also choose according to the reference.
I do not mind if you depart from the given canvas proportions, for example if the reference is elongated and you decided to take a square canvas.
That is always an interesting creative task.
