The collage technique lets you bring a picture from your imagination into the world using absolutely any materials, working and combining creative approaches exactly the way you want. In this lesson you will make a watercolor collage showing a sweet little cat with a heart in its paws. Along the way you will learn how to work with watercolor and what effects it can give you in a collage. Our teacher Anna will tell you about the particulars of the gilding technique and together you will create a character with a look and a personality of its own. Back in 1996 my parents took me to a children's art school. That was how it was done - children were sent to learn to draw. But unlike my classmates at the "art school", even then I had made up my mind that painting would be my profession.

After school I went to a college of culture, where I qualified as a "Master Artist". It is the place where they taught me not only to paint, but to cross-stitch, to knot macramé, to model and to carve... In short, everything you can possibly imagine in the crafts was passed on to me there by experienced teachers.
