New Intensive "The Mystery of the Unknown Woman"

Dear friends!  Introducing our new oil painting Intensive, "The Mystery of the Unknown Woman".  Starts — September 15. This time, a true art history investigation awaits us. In the Theorium, we will explore Ivan Kramskoy's famous "Unknown Woman": its historical context, theories about the woman in the painting, and details that a 19th-century viewer would have perceived very differently from how we do today. In the practical part, we will bring this image into the 21st century and paint a modern Unknown Woman in snowy Paris — wearing a black coat, behind the wheel of a Porsche convertible. We will preserve the essentials: her character, her gaze, and the sense of mystery. And, of course, you will receive 20+ additional original references so everyone can create their own version of the Unknown Woman.
