NEW MARATHON "AUTUMN FINDS"

 

There is something special about the first days of fall. You return from the woods with mushrooms, cut a rowan branch, bring home golden leaves — and realize that a painting is already waiting right in front of you.

 

This is exactly the kind of fall we will paint in the two-day oil painting Marathon "Autumn Finds".

 

🍄 Porcini mushrooms with warm-colored caps, scarlet rowan berries in a ceramic pitcher, golden leaves, light fabric, and a cool background — everything is built around the contrast between warm and cool.

 

Over two days, we will go from a blank canvas to a finished painting. We will explore composition, color, the volume and texture of mushrooms, ceramics, berries, and rowan branches. Most importantly — we will learn not to "render" every object meticulously, but to bring everything together into a cohesive painting.
